FATAL HIT & RUN
Hit & Run Victim Chom Su Chartier

Lakewood Police detectives need your help in solving a fatal hit and run accident.
On Wednesday November 15, 2006 at 9:40 p.m., 60 year-old Chom Su Chartier was struck and killed by a vehicle as she attempted to walk across Bridgeport Way SW near the intersection with Seattle Ave. SW in the City of Lakewood.

An unidentified vehicle traveling northbound on Bridgeport Way struck victim Chom Su Chartier, then sped away northbound on Bridgeport Way before turning on to northbound I-5 and fleeing.
The suspect vehicle is described as a late-1980's to mid-1990's Chevrolet or
GMC full size pickup or SUV, dark in color. The vehicle should have noticeable front end damage to the grill, hood and/or windshield areas.
