Crime of the Week for 26 October 2008
KIDNAPPING & ROBBERY
Lakewood Police detectives need your help in locating suspect James Lozan and identifying Lozan's accomplice. A felony warrant has been issued for Lozan's arrest for two counts of Kidnapping in the 1st degree, Burglary in the 1st degree, and Attempted Robbery in the 1st degree.
Detectives believe that on Saturday October 4th, 2008 at 4:05 p.m., Lozan knocked on the door of a woman's home and claimed to be soliciting donations for a church. When the victim opened the door, Lozan displayed a gun and demanded cash. The suspect threatened to kill the victim and assaulted her. An unidentified accomplice entered the home, helped Lozan tie up the victim and her son, and then they fled the home.
James Lozan is a black male, 57 years old, 5'10", 180 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. His accomplice is described as a black male in his 30's, 6' tall, slender build, and seen driving a blue SUV.
Receive up to $1000 dollars for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person in this case.
