Crime of the Week for 18 January 2009
HOMICIDE
Tacoma Police detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for the murder of James Guillory Jr., a 28-year old father from University Place. On Saturday December 27th, 2008 at 2:30 a.m., victim James Guillory Jr. was shot multiple times by an unidentified suspect following a fight in front of a house in the 5400 block of S. Oakes St. in Tacoma.
Witnesses saw several unidentified black males fighting in front of the house, when one of the men displayed a gun and fired multiple shots at Guillory, killing him. The suspects entered several vehicles and fled the scene.
Guillory was involved in a fight earlier that night with an unidentified black male outside of Maggie OTooles bar in Lakewood. Detectives are looking for any information on who was involved in the fight and the identity of the shooter.
