Detectives from the Pierce County Sheriff's Department need your help to identify
the suspect responsible for a bank robbery. On Thursday October 15th, 2009, at
10:00 a.m., the pictured suspect robbed a Chase Bank located in the 6900 block of
19th St. W. in University Place. The suspect walked up to the bank, put a hockey
mask over his face, walked inside and robbed the bank. No weapon was seen or
implied. The suspect fled on foot heading behind the nearby Value Village store.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30's, approximately 6'1", medium to
stocky build, with a goatee and a bald shaved head. During the robbery he was seen
wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, black leather gloves, dark pants, and a white
bandana around his neck.
