I-91 FM/KVTI was awarded Top-40 Radio Station of the Year at the 2006 New Music Weekly Awards at the Avalon Theater on Saturday Evening in Los Angeles. The third annual event was hosted by New Music Weekly (NMW) and is recognized as one of the premier award ceremonies in the radio and music industry.

I-91's Music Director Beth Valiant was also awarded Top-40 Music Director of the Year. This is Ms Valiant's third year in a row to win the Director's award.

Ms Valiant was presented with her award plaque, along with KVTI General Manager John Mangan (right). Larry Weir (left) is co-founder of New Music Weekly magazine.
